Application instructions

Please complete and submit the following with your application: Resume and repertoire list for your ensemble, if applicable, and in all cases individual members’ resumes and repertoire lists. Residency proposal specifically outlining the details of your project. Include a proposed timeline for your residency work. (One-page limit) If you are applying as an existing ensemble, please submit a video recording of your group. If you are applying as individuals, please send representative video recordings of each musician. A live audition will be scheduled for applications that are being considered. Letters of recommendation may be requested after applications have been received. Composers are not eligible to apply for Yellow Barn Artist Residencies but can participate as collaborating artists. If you are collaborating with a composer, please include representative recordings and biographical information for your composer colleague(s). Fees $50 for individuals and $100 for ensembles (non-refundable and due with application). Deadlines Applications for Yellow Barn Residencies are accepted on an ongoing basis. The next deadline is May 1, 2020 for residencies taking place between September 2020 and May 2021. Payment After clicking on “Submit” you will be asked to pay your application fee of $50 for individuals or $100 for ensembles/collaborate projects by PayPal.
